Which way is left?

What is experimenting about really? What all the technology around and the old ways of doing things still there what is it really? I guess a simple answer is just putting both together creatively? Then what makes putting them together interesting? Interesting? Who invented the word intersting anyway?At some point I know you have to have ask yourself how do i want to do this thing?

I haven’t listened to alot of music from Madlib currently listening to his Beat Konducta album but i read an interview of him in the Wire magazine August 2009 edition speaking about his work he said, “Even though a lot of my family took lessons, i wanted to do my stuff a little different because i didn’t want it to sound like the regular thing. i’m still learning. i just want to show progress from a beginner to finally figuring it out.” Give thanks Madlib cause that is where its at right now!!

P.S the interview also said he is not into making music on the computer and he doesn’t have an email address….hmmm

That night i cried….

I expected a great performance from Nneka Thursday night at Cargo. What i got was a life changing performance. In two hours she showed me that it is worth following your dreams and that the beautify in life is being able to do what you love all the time. Words are beautiful. life is lovely and sharing it with other gives meaning to living.
