Hidden from the rest of us in the Caribbean is these wicked african djs and beats . I discovered this the other day. It is my official song of the day although i don’t know what is been said i can feel the flow.

Do you feel it like i feel it? I was having this conversation one day with a group of music lovers,I was sharing with them this idea i had that the reason why jamaican music is jamaican music is because it has a certain feel and the reason why dancehall music is so popular in Jamaica is because it has a similar feel in addition to representations of Jamaica culture. The idea of feel came to me after listening to electronic musicians Chemical brothers and Daft Punk and then to the reggae group Midnite.Chemical brothers and Daft Punk are like Dance/techno music …high energy music..popular among European and North American crowds.
I liked Chemical brothers and Draft Punk but for a different reason from Midnite. Midnite i could FEEL.
Not many of them argreed with me but i still think there is something in this idea so i am throwing it out there.
